Dr VJ Sebastian Narively, Pala, Kottayam, Kerala, was appointed Lecturer in English at St Thomas College, Pala, on 11 July, 1967, at the age of 18. He has been approved as 'India's Youngest Lecturer' by Limca Book of Records-2001, and Manorama Yearbook-2000, 2003 & 2004.
Born on 16 November, 1948, Sebastian Narively passed MA from St.Thomas College, Pala, a NAAC A Grade govt. aided college affiliated to MG University, Kerala. He is presently working as Head, Dept.of Humanities, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirappally, Kottayam, Kerala, which is the first NAAC A Grade accredited engineering college in the State. Besides, he has been a member of the Advisory Board of the College since 2010.
